The Stem Cell Network Asia-Pacific (SNAP) Web site
27 May 2008
The Stem Cell Network – Asia-Pacific (SNAP) is an organisation established in September 2007 to promote the development of a research community in the region through increased communications, collaboration and exchange. SNAP seeks to provide a forum for the discussion of scientific advances in stem cell research, as well as developments in the regulatory, policy, ethics, and public domains. The network also periodically organises themed meetings, and maintains a comprehensive database of information on stem cell research labs and activities in the Asia-Pacific region.
The clear user interface is optimised for users who want to find the information they're after quickly, while supporting the SNAP brand identity.
The web site is supported by a CMS (Content Management System) that allows management from different members across Asia-Pacific. The ability to log on via the web and simultaneously access the website management interface was a key requirement of the project. This ensures content is updated quickly and easily, while keeping a consistent site look and feel.
