Deep Zoom too cool for school?

Mintleaf Studio recently delivered a deep zoom project for Wooranna Park Primary School.

The project is intended to explore unique ways to interact with the school's philosophy. Mintleaf Studio decided to use Deep Zoom - a new technology supported by Microsoft in their "Flash-killer" Silverlight browser add-on.

The project allows clever use of standard navigation elements as well as a "click, drag & scroll" experience to explore the detail of a high-resolution image with detail at different levels (much like online mapping software).
