Clear communication for Australian scientific site

EMBL Australia brings a European approach to research from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. With a range of information for different stakeholders and with one centre  in the process of opening (Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute - ARMI), EMBL required a website that was easy to use and stylish.

The project involved designing information around the key site users and keeping navigation simple and intuitive. Additionally, the site was modelled on the EMBL European site - while keeping the brand intact, the design team worked to retain the European style while adding an Australian flavour.

The result was an easy to use, easy to manage & visually appealing site that works hard to promote the EMBL brand and its values. In the words of client:
